Lost / Stolen Passports
Indian nationals traveling in Switzerland facing unfortunate situations like loss or theft of their passports may take the following actions:-
- Register a police complaint in the nearest police station and obtain a copy of the complaint.
- Ascertain from the police station the address and details of the nearest Lost and Found Office and approach them to ascertain the possibility of tracing / recovery of the documents. There have been several cases where the documents have been recovered.
